New Hope Counseling Center/Hope4Health, with Light on the Hill and Peterson Regional Medical Center, works diligently to address health disparities for community residents.

The Hope4Health Collaborative at the Doyle Community Center, established as a part of a community collaborative led by New Hope Counseling Center, serves residents of color in downtown rural Kerrville, Kerr County Texas. The Hope4Health Collaborative will push for a community approach to systems change for the Doyle residents will help drive changes in community health through a focus with a food pantry located in the Doyle neighborhood and extended medical services for the Doyle Residents.

This team seeks to impact community health by improving access to health services and foods that promote health. The Community Center will serve as a food pantry and as an access point for health, wellness, and nutrition education. The Center will also provide home visits and case management services. Finally, the team will open an on-site dental clinic. Finally, community health workers will be hired to identify and refer Doyle residents to address unmet needs. The project has a diverse network of established organizations and passionate individuals who are ready to come together and achieve a shared goal: improving community health in Doyle!
